Adam Host

Adam began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2009 at a small club in Nuneaton, before joining Lions Gym/Gracie Barra Coventry, where his passion for the sport truly took off. An active competitor up through his purple belt, Adam has trained extensively in both Gi and No-Gi. If pressed, though, he’d admit his heart leans toward Gi—where his skill at using the uniform to his advantage has made him a specialist.

In 2017, Adam began sharing his knowledge, teaching classes as a brown belt at Lions Gym/Gracie Barra Coventry. In 2019, he was awarded his black belt by Professor Braulio Estima, a significant milestone in his BJJ career.

In 2023, the opportunity arose for Adam and Vince, training partners since white belt, to establish Moralis Grappling Academy in Hinckley. Adam’s commitment and expertise make him an integral part of the club and as co-owner, he brings not only his technical skill but also a dedication to creating a space for others to thrive in Jiu-Jitsu.
